The Culture Schools in Gentofte

Small Composers has several times been a part of the Culture Schools´  cultural packages offered to community schools, where the aim is to inspire, encourage and empower children and young people's musical and creative learning.

Figura wish to thank the Culture Schools in Gentofte as a cooperate partner in the development of Small Composers.

The Heerup Museum

On The Danish Music Day in October 2011 a Small Composers Workshop for school children in Rødovre was completed with a family concert at The Heerup Museum.

Vanløse Culture Station

In 2011 the children from 1st to 3rd grade in Vanløse drew and told their own music to Peter Bruun 

The cultural rucksack in Kalundborg

In 2010 Steingrimur Rohloff, Jesper Egelund and Peter Bruun presented children in 1st-3rd grade in Kalundborg for the composer from the classical world.

Small Composers in Shanghai

In 2008 Jesper Egelund teached the Small Composers workshop for children at the Shanghai American School.

 

Small Composers in Odense

in 2005 children of Henriette Hørlücks School composed their music in collaboration with composer Jesper Egelund and musicians from Odense Symphony Orchestra.

Small Composers in Sønderborg

Five intense project days and rehersals in October 2005 at the Concert Hall in Sønderborg. Children from 4.A on Dybbøl School composed music in collaboration with composer Peter Bruun and South Jutland Symphony Orchestra.
