Four days of exhilarating new concerts plus the Axel Borup-Jørgensen Prize

No sooner are we into the new year than it’s time for another FIGURA Festspiele, once again in a new and exciting venue.
From January 25-28 we’ll be presenting a series of concerts featuring special guests from home and abroad, and for the first time the Axel Borup Jørgesen Prize will be awarded during the Festspiele to a young Danish composer—so make a date for the announcement and award ceremony January 28.

This year’s venue is the Bygningskulturens Hus, where students of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, and the Academy’s Art, Culture and Architecture postgraduate programme will present a dazzling installation in the imposing space.
Tickets on sale in January.

Featuring: Mathias Loibner (AUT), Nataša Mirkovic (BIH), Ayumi Paul (DE),
Susanne Frölich (DE), Garth Knox (GB), Pernille Sejlund, Signe Asmussen, Tuva Semmingsen and Jakob Davidsens Kammeratorkester—and of course FIGURA Ensemble.

Stage design and concept: Filippa Berglund and Peter Rasmussen

Lighting design: Raphael Solholm.
